Bentonville Battleground

The Battle of Bentonville, fought March 19-21, 1865, was the last full-scale action of the Civil War in which a Confederate army was able to mount a tactical offensive. This major battle, the largest ever fought in North Carolina, was the only significant attempt to defeat the large Union army of Gen. William T. Sherman during its march through the Carolinas in the spring of 1865. Visit this historical site only 17 miles from the campground.

Tucker Lake is just 20 minutes from Smithfield/Raleigh SE KOA. It’s a 30 acre lake fed by clear spring water with white sand beaches. They have a water slide, rope swing, floats for the smaller kids and a great shaded picnic area complete with grills.
Managers pick for a great outing for the whole family. Open for the season in May.
Stay with us monthly! Our rates, based on site type, are $475.00 a month. Most sites have a concrete patio. Every site has a fire ring and will hold a 45ft unit plus vehicle. Price includes water, sewer, cable and free wireless internet. Electric is metered. One of the cleanest, friendliest KOA’s you’ll visit. Please call ahead for availability and to make your reservation. Any rig over 10 years old will need to be seen by picture or in person for approval.
We have a great facility with everything you need for a long-term stay. All sites are full hook up with either 30 or 50 amp electric and all sites include free cable and wi-fi. We have a 24 hour laundry, bathhouse, game room, swimming pool, playground and nature trail. It is a clean safe well maintained campground close to stores and restaraunts but in a quiet country setting.
Rates are based on one or two people with a maximum of three adults allowed on a monthly site. Extra person charge is $50.00 per month.
(Non-Metered sites are only used when all of the metered sites are full)
To make a reservation a $75.00 deposit is required which is non-refundable but will be applied to your first months rent.

Pets are allowed but must be kept on a leash, picked up after and not left outside unattended. Because of insurance requirements no Rottweiler or Pit Bull Breeds are allowed.
Anyone owning an RV ten years or older is required to send a picture of all four sides to info@smithfieldkoa.com before a reservation can be made.
We do not promise any specific site at the time of reservation. Site will be assigned at the time of arrival depending on what is available.
